Demetrios is the founder and Principal Services Director of HUME-IT. With over two decades of hands-on experience, he specializes in securing enterprise platforms—including Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID, VMware vSphere, and cloud-based infrastructure. He has led complex security engagements for U.S. government agencies, Fortune 500 enterprises, and organizations in banking, healthcare, and telecommunications. His work has included securing some of the largest VMware vSphere environments in the country—encompassing dozens of vCenter servers and thousands of ESXi hosts—demonstrating his deep expertise in platform-scale infrastructure security. As an Enterprise Platform Security Specialist, Demetrios combines engineering depth with strategic guidance. He works directly with clients to identify critical risks, improve resilience, and implement pragmatic security solutions tailored to real-world enterprise environments.
